Possible Problems:

  • Trying to connect at too high a speed.

  • The modem is not using the correct drivers.

  • There is a problem with configuration and/or installation of the modem.

  • There is a conflict between your modem and another device on your computer.

  • There is a problem with your computer's serial port.
